Police have now identified a person they wanted to speak to
Police have thanked the public for assisting with a CCTV appeal.
Essex Police released the image of a teenager they wanted to speak to after incident in High Street, Colchester, on October 25.
A 16-year-old boy was left with facial injuries.
A spokesman said: "We would like to thank you for sharing our CCTV appeal in relation to an assault in Colchester High Street, which is alleged to have occurred on October 25, 2018.
"We have since identified a 14-year-old boy who will be assisting with our enquiries."
