A man has been banned from driving after he was found to be 13 times over the limit on cocaine.
Abdul Hamid, 32 of Cherry Garden Road told officers he had taken cocaine after he had been stopped by officers on the A414.
Officers stopped a BMW 116d on Sunday August 13 2017 at around 12.25am.
A cocaine test found Hamid who was driving the vehicle to be over the limit.
He was taken into custody and gave a blood sample also.
Following his arrest, he was sentenced at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Monday February 12, however, he appealed the decision.
He was disqualified from driving at Chelmsford Crown Court on Friday November 16.
He was banned for 12 months and ordered to pay a £225, fine, costs of £1240 and a victim surcharge of £30.
