A COLLEAGUE has spent the past three years growing a crazy hairstyle to raise money for a homeless charity.

Gareth Coe, health and safety advisor at Catten College, in Colchester, will have his locks chopped off in aid of Colchester Night Shelter.

Catten College Level 3 hairdressing students will be crafting Gareth’s long overdue new style.

The chop will take place on November 15 at the college, in Challenge Way.

There will be a live feed on Facebook and Instagram of Gareth’s haircut and raffle draw at 2pm.

Gareth said he had been growing out his hair so it would make more of an impression when it was cut off.

For every £5 donated to charity the donor will be entered into a raffle to win one of five free cuts. To to donate visit https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/bianca-catten.
