CROWDS will be gripped by a spectacular night of colour and noise which will take place at a rugby club next month.

That’s because the 2018 British Firework Champions are set to hold a firework display when they head to Witham Rugby Club, in Spa Road, on Saturday, November 3.

Visitors young and old will be able to mark Guy Fawkes Night in style when Illusion Fireworks put on what is set to be a truly amazing show.

The sky and the air will be filled with bright colours, loud bangs and the unmistakeable smell of fireworks.

But it won’t just all be about the fun and thrills of the fireworks because a whole host of other exciting activities will be on offer.

There will be all the fun of the fair as well as catering stalls and a bar with a range of refreshments for the adults.

Elsewhere on site a roaring bonfire will keep you warm and all sorts other entertainment will be on offer to keep firework lovers occupied.

Illusion Fireworks were named as champions in August after a competition which took place in Plymouth, Devon.

All of the fairground rides will cost £1 per ride between 5.30pm and 6.30pm and tickets are on sale now.

Gates to the event will open at 5.30pm and the bonfire will get cracking at 7.30pm before the fireworks get under way and fill the skies at 8pm.

But it’s not over after the fireworks with the family fun set to run right through until 10pm.

Discount admission prices of just £3 for children and £5 for adults and £12 for a family ticket are on offer until Sunday, October 28, at Witham Town Hall or online.

All proceeds from the evening will go to Witham Rugby Club.

No sparklers will be allowed onsite and no food or drink can be taken on to the grounds.

There is also no parking available on site.
