A PARISH council is appealing for the public's help to introduce new dog waste pins.
Heybridge Parish Council is looking for help from residents to identify where best to install new the new bins, as there is a need for more in the area.
If people believe there a spot on their walk that could do with an extra or a new bin, the council would like to hear them so it can investigate.
A council spokesman said: "New bins can’t be within 200 metres of an existing dog bin or rubbish bin and ideally won’t be outside someone’s front door, but by letting us know we can see what we can do.
"Please contact the Clerk with your ideas on 01621 855652, or via email clerk@heybridgeparishcouncil.gov.uk."
The council will be announcing via their Facebook page when and where new bins are being installed.
