PUPILS skipped to the beat as they took part in fun fundraising for the British Heart Foundation.
Youngsters at Burnham Primary School enjoyed skipping races and performances to help raise cash for the charity.
The Year 5 pupils took part in a warm up which was followed by a 60m sprint skipping race and individual and group routines to show off their skills.
The event on Monday was organised by PE teacher Alan Proudfoot.
He said: “I chose this charity as they conduct research and deliver lifesaving and life changing treatments to children.
“Skipping has become extremely popular within our school over the last couple of weeks and I hope to continue the momentum through- out the course of the summer term.”
The school has set up a Just Giving page.
