Large warehouse used as car garage 50% on fire
A LARGE fire at a warehouse used as a car garage has been fully extinguished
Firefighters tackled the fire, on Hall Road, Southminster, with the warehouse reportedly 50 per cent alight at one point.
The fire was extinguished just over an hour after the fire service were called.
The warehouse measures approximately 30m x 20m, with the officer in charge reporting the warehouse as 50 per cent on fire at 1.10pm.
Four fire crews were in attendance, one from each of Tillingham, Burnham, Maldon and South Wooden Ferrers.
The fire was first reported at 12.35pm today, before the officer in charge reported the fire as under control at 1.30pm.
At 1.40pm, the fire was reported to be fully extinguished
