A former plumber isn’t console-ing himself after finding a new career path in 3D gaming art.
Mature student Dan Bavin, 29, of Burnham, turned to his passion for gaming after a shortage of work in the construction industry saw his apprenticeship cut short after working as a plumber for two years.
Dan decided to return to education and is now a specialist 3D artist.
He has recently created a 3D gaming environment using similar design techniques to that of the popular Assassins Creed series, winning praise from international firms.
The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) student said: “I’m very pleased with the final product."
