A town representative condemned a planning application as “unwanted”, objecting to a new development for Burnham.
Chairman of Burnham Residents Oppose Over Development (Brood) Dennis Price spoke on behalf of town residents against 80 homes planned opposite the town’s cemetery.
Councillors at Burnham Town Council’s planning meeting on Wednesday were unanimous in their opposition to the Gladman Developments plan, condemning it as “speculative” on the part of the developer.
Chairman Dennis Price said: “The Local Development Plan although currently stalled, adequately covers Burnham’s needs.”
