ORGANISATIONS across Maldon have banded together to help residents support each other throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
Plans include helping food donations, checking on neighbours, and keeping everyone in the loop in changes in services.
The council is working with various organisations such as Maldon and District CVS, Salvation Army, parish and town councils, and churches.
Council leader Adrian Fluker said: “We are all living in what are unprecedented times, so as community leaders, it is vital that together we support the community in whatever way we are able.
“We have produced a Covid-19 Community Pack which will provide lots of advice and guidance and we hope you find this useful.
“In addition, the council and our partners have come together to provide this joined up approach and I would urge residents to sign up if you can spare some time to volunteer or register if you or someone you know needs help and support.”
