A driver had to be helped out their car by firefighters and paramedics after an accident.
The driver was injured in the single vehicle incident in a quiet country road near Asheldham.
Firefighters from Tillingham rushed to the scene, only to find the driver was in fact a family member of one of the team.
A spokesman for Tillingham Fire Station, said: "In this job we never know who we will be called to assist with, and this was the case yesterday when one of the firefighter's family members were involved in a car accident in Asheldham.
"We assisted paramedics in safely releasing the driver from the car and left them in the hands of the ambulance service."
