A MOTOR cruiser was stranded for almost seven hours after running aground at the entrance to the River Crouch.
Maybar, a 26ft cruiser with two people on board, got stuck on the sands at Cockleshell Ridge from about 1.20pm on Sunday November 15.
The coastguard kept watch before the Burnham RNLI lifeboat helped escort the cruiser back into the River Crouch.
