Drivers are facing delays after a crash blocked a lane on one of Essex’s busiest roads.
The A12 Chelmsford Bypass London-bound is affected at junction 18 for the A1060 at Danbury, where one lane is blocked following the collision.
Queueing traffic is building on the approach, with congestion stretching back to junction 19 for the A131 at Boreham Interchange.
It is not yet known how many vehicles were involved or whether anyone has been injured.
Motorists travelling towards Chelmsford and London are being advised to allow extra time for their journeys while the incident is dealt with.
