Emergency services were called to a crash on a busy Southend route over the weekend, with a motorcyclist taken to hospital for treatment.
The incident happened on the A1159 Royal Artillery Way at around 6pm on Saturday, September 26.
While emergency services have only confirmed the involvement of a motorbike, reports circulating online suggested the collision involved both a car and a motorcycle.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called just after 6pm on Saturday with reports of a road traffic collision on the A1159 Royal Artillery Way in Southend, involving a motorbike.
"An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, and the motorcyclist was transported to hospital for further care."
The motorcyclist's condition has not been confirmed.
