Drivers are facing long delays on the M25 after two separate incidents caused disruption on the anticlockwise carriageway.
Traffic is queueing for around two miles between Junction 25 at Enfield and Junction 24 at Potters Bar, where a crash involving a lorry and a car has led to the closure of one lane.
The collision is affecting lane one of four, with congestion building as motorists pass the scene.
A second incident further along the motorway is causing more delays.
The exit slip road at Junction 23 for the A1(M) at South Mimms has been closed due to a car fire.

Traffic is moving slowly in the area while emergency services work on the blaze.
The two incidents are combining to cause disruption for drivers travelling anticlockwise on the busy orbital motorway, with delays expected throughout the area.
It is not yet known whether anyone was injured in either incident.
Motorists are being advised to allow extra time for their journeys and consider alternative routes where possible.
