A school has been forced to close after an unexpected problem left parts of the site unusable.
Parents and carers were informed of the disruption on Monday morning.
Pupils were told not to attend as the school remained closed for the day.
Kingsmoor Academy in Harlow announced an emergency closure on Monday, September 28, after a water problem caused flooding at the school.
The academy said the closure was necessary because of problems on site.
The academy confirmed that remote education would not be provided while the school remains shut.

In a message to parents and carers, the school said: "URGENT: School Closure Notice.
"Dear Parents and Carers,
"We are very sorry to inform you that the school is closed today due to flooding caused by a water issue on site."
The closure has been listed as an emergency shutdown because of site issues.
No further details have been provided about the extent of the flooding or when the school is expected to reopen.
