Police recorded more than 200 speeding offences in Brentwood within several hours.
Essex Police’s Roads Policing Unit ran the operation on September 24 after residents raised concerns about speeding and anti-social driving.
Officers checked speeds on Chelmsford Road, Coxtie Green Road, Wyatts Green Road and the A12.
Officers detected 202 offences during several hours of checks.
