Ryanair is cutting more than half a million seats to two European countries this year, according to reports.
It will scrap 550,000 seats to Estonia and Lithuania this winter, the Sun reports, representing a 25 per cent cut in capacity.
This is due to rising airport costs in both countries, according to the airline.
Ryanair operates direct flights from Stansted Airport to Tallinn, Vilnius, and Kaunas, though it isn’t clear how many UK flights will be affected.
Ryanair said airport charges in Lithuania have increased by 30 per cent since 2023, while fees have also risen at Tallin Airport in Estonia.
The total reduction equates to around 3,000 flights.

In response, Ryanair is shifting capacity to destinations with lower airport costs.
Riga in nearby Latvia will gain around 40,000 additional seats this winter, bringing the total number of routes to 16.
Other routes seeing increased capacity include Barcelona and Milan.
Elsewhere, Ryanair is cutting 700,000 seats and 12 routes in Greece, and one million seats and 20 routes in Belgium.
The airline has already dropped flights from several airports in Spain, Portugal, and Germany.
Despite the cuts, Ryanair says it remains committed to long-term growth in the Baltic region, with plans to increase its fleet there from seven to 16 aircraft by 2031.
