A road in Essex has been closed in both directions following a crash.
The B1022 Maldon Road in Tiptree is shut after a collision involving a vehicle and a bike between Braxted Park Road and Stone Lane, according to traffic data.
Emergency services are on the scene.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "Emergency services are at the scene of collision in Maldon Road, Tiptree, which was reported to us at 6.30am today.
"The incident involves a vehicle and a bicycle.
"The road is closed at the junction with Braxted Park Road and Grove Farm Road to Stone Lane.
"We anticipate the closure to be in place throughout the morning rush hour and we’d urge motorists to find alternative routes.
"Drivers are being advised to avoid the area, with disruption expected while the incident is dealt with."
East of England Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
