Two men have been arrested in Heybridge in connection to drug supply offences.

The arrests followed three warrants executed early on Thursday, May 13 by the Maldon Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Operational Support Group.

A 33-year-old man was arrested at a property in Hillary Road, with police seizing a phone containing messages linked to Class A drug supply, £2,500 in cash, and drug deal bags.

A 60-year-old man was arrested at an address in the Oak Road area of Heybridge.

Police confiscated wraps of suspected cocaine and a large quantity of prescription drugs from the property.

A third warrant was executed in the St Giles Crescent area of Maldon, but no arrests were made there.

Both men are currently in custody as investigations continue.

The arrests come as part of ongoing efforts to crack down on drug-related activities in the area.
