A FAMOUS singer has visited a small town in Essex it has been revealed after he shared a new photo on social media.
Olly Murs, who grew up in Witham, and first rose to fame as the runner-up on The X Factor in 2009, has shared a new photo after visiting Maldon.
The picture, posted on Instagram yesterday with the hashtag ‘mursdaythursday’, shows his wife Amelia and their young children Madison and Albert in the Promenade Park area.
The caption said: “Watching you be their mum is my favourite thing in the world.
“I don’t say it enough… but I’m so proud of this little family we’ve built babe, love ya x.”
It’s not the first time Olly has visited Maldon.
In 2023, he was spotted alongside TV personality Keith Lemon at a Home Bargains in Blackwater Retail Park.
The pair were filming for a season of Shopping with Keith Lemon.
The ITV comedy series, hosted by the comedian, was first aired in 2019 and has since starred a range of celebrity guests including Jamie Laing and Aitch.
Olly shared his eight studio album Knees Up last November which peaked at number five in the UK official album charts.
It received mixed reviews from critics.
