AN upcoming event is set to put original artists centre stage in Maldon.
Essex-based blues and Americana trio The Mighty Bosscats and country singer-songwriter Florence Sommerville will perform at Maldon Original Music Sessions (MOMS).
The concert takes place at Madison Heights Park Drive on Friday, March 13, with doors open from 7pm.

The Mighty Bosscats have released of 17 albums, and are known for their soulful grooves and blues rock.

Florence Sommerville, from Orsett, has been making waves in Nashville and across major UK festivals and has been named UK Country Radio Voice of the Year.
She will perform songs from her debut album Endless Horizon.
MOMS sessions are organised by Richard Townend from Mundon, who is guitarist and songwriter for The Mighty Bosscats.
