MALDON Croquet Club is inviting people to try their hand at the sport as they gear up for their new season.
The croquet club, based at the Keith Bigden Memorial Ground in Hatfield Peverel, starts its new season in April.
They offer group bookings for an afternoon of croquet, accommodating up to 16 people for a session including equipment, coaching and tea.
Individuals who wish to try the game are also encouraged to drop in and have a go.
The club has around 80 members and provides a mix of leisurely and competitive experiences.
