Farmers across the Maldon district are invited to ‘shake off the winter blues’ for a free evening of food, entertainment, and company.
The Maldon Maldon & District Community Voluntary Service (CVS) is a registered charity based in the District Council in Princes Road, aimed at supporting other third-party organisations and individuals.
The organisation will be hosting a free and relaxed evening which is just for farmers within the Maldon district.
The Maldon CVS team will be there to provide helpful information on rural mental health and offer well-being support.
Entertainment will be provided by SJP Entertainment who will be performing a live variety show.
There will be food at the event which is designed to be a space for farmers to chat, share stories, and support each other in a profession which can be tough and isolating.
Spaces are limited and booking is essential, with people being asked to tell their farmer friends about the event.
The event will take place on Friday January 23 at 7pm at the Heybridge Swifts Football Club in Scraley Road.
