People are being asked to comment on a parish boundary change in Maldon which would affect more than 800 homes.
A Community Governance Review looks at part or all of a council area and can create, merge, change or scrap parishes.
Heybridge Parish Council has asked for a review of its electoral boundaries to move the parish line between Heybridge and Great Totham.
The aim is to include the North Heybridge Garden Suburb wholly within the Parish of Heybridge.

In total, 832 properties would be affected.
If approved, the change would start on the date of the next parish council elections on May 7, 2027.
Maldon District Council says parish elections would stay in the same year, in line with district and other parish polls.
It also plans no other changes to Heybridge’s voting set-up, including its current wards.
For this review, councillors have allowed for a possible increase of 1,500 voters.
This reflects the extra homes proposed for Heybridge parish, which represents the current planned growth of Heybridge in the area.
