Essex Police is cracking down on crime in Maldon during the festive season.
Throughout the weekend, the force extended patrols in the town and surrounding villages.
A police spokesperson said: “Our focus is to detect and disrupt criminality while providing reassurance to our communities.
“Several hours of proactive patrols have taken place, and this visible presence will continue throughout the festive period.
“Yesterday, our rural engagement team also conducted similar patrols and successfully seized a vehicle being driven without insurance on the road network.
“If you notice anything suspicious, please report it via 101 or online at the Essex Police website. Always dial 999 in an emergency.”
