A Christmas scavenger hunt will take place in Goldhanger with children being able to look around the village for clues.
Danielle Jones, 35, started the Cake Stop in Maldon Road in February after moving to the village the previous October.
The cake stop is a cake honesty box – an unattended stall where people are trusted to pay for their items.
The success of the honesty box has inspired Danielle to set up a Christmas wishing tree where people leave a message for a loved one or write a wish to Santa for £1.
The wishing tree will raise money for carers.

Danielle will be doing a Christmas scavenger hunt, similar to her Halloween clue hunt, where children will follow clues to find items around the village.
The event is £6 per child with the price including a Santa goody bag which has a reindeer hot chocolate inside, a sticker activity sheet, and a letter to Santa which can be filled in.
The price also covers the cost of the scavenger hunt sheets and maps for the day as well as the prizes.
Children will be able to post their letter to Santa at the Cake Stop's very own Santa post-box and make a wish on the wishing tree with the minimum donation.
Homemade bakes and handmade items will be available with prices starting at £1 per item and Christmas stocking fillings can be purchased for £1.50.
Spaces are limited and the event will take place on Saturday, November 29.
Please message the Cake Stop on Facebook to book a space and for any enquiries.
