PARENTS and carers of children with special educational needs (SEND) are invited to learn more about the support available at a series of roadshows in Essex.
The Essex Local Offer roadshows, taking place this autumn in Burnham, Harwich, Loughton and Brentwood, will highlight the wide range of services and support available to families.
The scheme signposts help for children and young people with SEND up to age 25, covering education, health, wellbeing, employment, and training.
Tony Ball, councillor responsible for education excellence, lifelong learning and employability at Essex County Council, said: "We know how important it is for families of children and young people with SEND to feel supported and informed.
"These roadshows are a fantastic opportunity to connect with local services, meet other parents and carers, and discover the wide range of help available through the Essex Local Offer.

The events will take place at Lopping Hall in Loughton on Monday, October 13, Baptist Church in Burnham on Wednesday, October 22, SNAP Charity in Brentwood on Monday, November 3, and The Waterfront in Harwich on Wednesday, November 5.
