Drivers will face disturbances in Maldon until the end of the week. 

Essex and Suffolk Water is repairing the pavement in Spital Road and Wycke Hill. 

Due to the work, temporary traffic lights have been installed, which are causing delays for motorists, especially during rush hour. 

The water company confirmed the work is scheduled to finish by the end of the week.

An Essex & Suffolk spokesperson said: "We are repairing the footpath and road following some work that was carried out recently.  

“Our contractors hope to have everything completed by the end of the day Friday, June 27.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
