A TILLINGHAM band is celebrating its 50th birthday with a huge celebration.
The Mays, who started out in 1975 under their original band name Four-May-Shun, are celebrating five decades of being a band.
Alongside the milestone celebrations, the band are also hosting a dance in memory of their brother Michael May, who was the drummer in the family band.
To celebrate the anniversary of the band and the life of Michael, there will be an event held on May 31, from 7pm to 11pm, at The Village Hall, in Arcadia Road, Burnham.
It aims to raise money for the NHS.

Julian May said: "It feels fabulous celebrating the band's 50th, it's a milestone for my brothers and I.
"We started out in our mid to late teens and now most of us are in our mid to late 60's.
"To be fair though, all of us have been in and out of other bands and various projects over our fifty years experience.
"Peter May of the band is now a popular Disco DJ who is still traveling far and wide."
The Mays have also announced it will welcome keyboard player Richard Langstone for the milestone celebrations.
Julian said: "The first song we ever released was a self-penned number written by Peter all about a local disco that we all used to attend in the early 70's appropriately titled, Tillingham Disco.
"We are due to re-record this track later in the year under the title, Tillingham Disco 2025, so I guess it will become our latest track when released."
