A popular music festival is set to return to Maldon this summer.
Soultasia is celebrating its fifth birthday with an "almighty show" on June 7 at Promenade Park, Maldon.
The festival will see performances from bands including Shalamar, Earth, Wind and Fire Experience, Incognito, The Real Thing, Shakatak, Harry Cambridge with a full live band, and Uncle Funk’s Disco Inferno.
The event will be hosted by Ian Reading and DJ Darren Bull.
The fun will kick off from 2pm and is expected to finish at around 11pm.
Festival-goers are encouraged to print their tickets or have them ready on their phones, as all tickets have a unique barcode.
Duplicate tickets will be refused entry at the gate.
The festival is open to all ages, with free entry for children under 10 when accompanied by an adult.
Disabled carers also get in free but must show appropriate PIP documentation on arrival.
There will be separate entrances for general admission and VIP ticket holders, who will have a priority lane.
The event will also have designated "no bag" lanes for customers arriving without bags or bulky clothing.
This will speed up security checks as pockets will still be checked but will take less time than full bag searches.
Festival-goers are advised to keep an eye on the weather as the event is open air.
Large umbrellas are not allowed, and sun cream is recommended if it's hot.
Bars at the festival will require ID from anyone looking under 25 to purchase alcohol.
Both cash and cards will be accepted at the bars, but food units will only accept card payments.
There are a number of restrictions at the festival, including no liquids being allowed in the arena, except for four sealed 500ml (or smaller) bottles of water.
There are water stations at the event where people can fill up their bottles all day for free.
Small bottles of perfume, roll-on deodorant, and sun cream (non-aerosol) are permitted but may have to be tested for safety.
There are licensed bars at the festival selling alcohol and soft drinks, as well as coffee and tea vendors.
No alcohol or food is allowed to be brought into the festival.
Fold-up chairs can be brought into the event but cannot be in packaging or a case.
They must remain to the sides in designated areas, not directly in front of the stage.
Bag searches will be taking place.
There is on-site car parking, just a short walk from the entrances, and parking is also available at Lower Plume School in Mill Road, Maldon.
There will be a free shuttle bus transfer to and from South Woodham Ferrers Train Station, running between midday and midnight.
