A LORRY has overturned on a roundabout in Maldon, blocking access to a busy road.
The vehicle overturned on Oak Corner roundabout and has blocked entry to Maldon Road from Danbury and Bicknacre.
The incident occurred around 2pm today (Thursday, August 29) and is causing traffic to queue in the area.
Maldon Road (A414) is currently closed both ways from B1418 Southend Road (Oak Corner) to Conduit Lane.
An air ambulance, fire engines and police vehicles are all at the scene.
The emergency services have been contacted for more information.
