POLICE have launched an appeal to trace a suspect believed to have helped a man break into vehicles in Maldon.
Keith Wright, 46, was sentenced to four weeks in jail last Thursday after admitting theft from a motor vehicle and two counts of vehicle interference.
The arrest came after police were called to Cherry Garden Road at 3.20am last Wednesday, where Wright was detained.
Police believe he was accompanied by another man at the time of the attempted break-ins, and are now appealing for CCTV footage which could help with their investigation.
