AN eclectic three-piece band will headline a Langford venue later this week.
Musical trio Raz will headline play at Langford Hall on Saturday.
Raz was formed in 2014 when bassist Pera Frank, drummer George Krethlowshaw, and guitarist Dan Goldstone met at college.
The band combines a mix of jazz, funk and rock, and has played across the country, performing at Colchester Arts Centre, Hot Box Chelmsford, Clacton Sea and Beach Festival, and more.
The band has released two albums so far and a third is expected later this year.
Musically, the group hopes to cross different genres to create a unique sound.
All three members of Raz have more than eight years of experience in music performance and recording.
The band said: "We're extremely excited to be bringing some live music to Maldon and to be playing in a cosy spot where people can relax and immerse themselves in the performance.
"It's unusual for us to be performing in this area of Essex, so it makes it that much more special because of that."
Doors open at 7pm and tickets can be bought on the door for £7.
Fans are urged to bring their own food and beverages to the venue.
