POLICE in the Maldon district are hosting an event to bring officers and members of the community closer together.
The Maldon town team will host a ‘Let’s Talk’ event on Friday, March 15.
It will be held at Champions Manor Hall, Hullbridge Road, in South Woodham Ferrers between 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “This is an opportunity to get to know some of the police officers and staff who are protecting and serving your community.
“Police officers or police community support officers (PCSOs) will be available to listen to your community concerns and answer your questions about local policing."
The event may have to be cancelled at short notice due to operational demands. Details would be posted on Maldon police's social media pages if this happens.
