A SPONSORED row and gig race will be taking place at Maldon Hythe to raise funds for a charity that saves lives at sea.
Maldon Little Ship Club organises the event to raise funds for the RNLI.
The registered charity operates around the coasts of the UK, the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
The event takes place on Saturday, January 13, with an approximate 12.30pm start time.
