A SURVEY is open to give residents the chance to have their say on what a council should focus on.

Residents, businesses, and organisations in the Maldon district still have time to take part in the district council’s annual survey which will close on Sunday, November 26.

The council has confirmed that two entries will be selected at random and will win a £50 voucher as a thank you for taking part.

The council hopes the feedback will allow the councillors to set priorities and plans for the future, and to establish the services that meet people's needs.

Council leader Richard Siddall said: “I am asking residents, businesses and organisations to engage and complete this survey.

“Getting your views directly is the best way for the council to understand your priorities and concerns for the district.

“That helps us to understand what is important to you and then to prioritise our delivery of work accordingly.

“It also helps us shape the district and support the district in areas that are important to you.

“The more responses we get, the better our understanding. Please take a few moments to let us know what you think about the council and our unique district.

“It is your district, and your views really do matter, in creating a place where the quality of life matters.”
