A FORMER vets could be turned into a new dental surgery as plans were submitted.
Plans have been put in to Maldon Council to change the use of a former veterinary surgery to form a dental practice.
The former vets in Chelmsford Road, Purleigh, could be the location for a new dentist if plans are approved.
The plans look to extend the existing building on the site at Purleigh Grange into a larger space with a reception and waiting area, two consultation rooms, an x-ray room and office spaces.
Drawings for the proposed development show a pebble parking area and wheelchair access to the building. There are four staff parking spaces and five visitor spaces including a disabled space.
Maldon District Council will have the final say on the plans.
