A HEYBRIDGE church is celebrating its annual harvest festival and collecting for people in need.
St Andrew’s Church is hosting a harvest celebration and organising a fundraiser for the Dengie Food Bank.
Donations in the form of tins and packets are welcome and will be delivered to the foodbank after the harvest supper.
At a joint buffet, residents can bring and share their dishes, but the church is asking people to inform the church by phone on 01621 740481/741131 to ensure the buffet is not one-sided.
The harvest festival will take place on October 21 at 4pm in the church hall.
