A STEAMPUNK extravaganza has been hailed a "huge success" after attracting hundreds of fans.
This year's Steampunk Essextraordinaire at Langford's Museum of Power had an 'Under The Sea' theme.
Visitors broke out Victorian-inspired costumes with additional submarine accessories.
There were amazing dancers, including Soluna, the Burlesque Bombshells and Hells Bells Morris, all steampunked up and full of energy, while Erin from Fireflow Circus gave workshops and performances.
Museum spokesman Lyz Le Fay said: "It was a huge success. It has taken its time to pick up again since lockdown, but emerged again from the depths like Captain Nemo and the Nautilus.
"We had over 400 people attend this fantastical spectacle, dressed in their maritime finery.
"The day couldn’t be without the parasol duelling, tea-pot racing and tea duelling which created a lot of fun, and the wonderful meister’s Paul Adams and Dean Allen-Jones led the order for the day, on stage and off."
There were stalls selling steampunk accessories and other amazing items.
The museum was partially open, with the boiler room in action and exhibitors in attendance inside.
Visitors could also see how renovation work is going at the museum, and there were miniature steam train rides.
Lyz said: "We would like to thank everyone who attended this great day of steampunk splendidiousness and we look forward to seeing you next year."
The museum's next event is a model show on Sunday, October 1, followed by an antique and vintage fair on Sunday, October 15.
