A COMMUNITY festival has been postponed due to rain and thunderstorms forecasted at the weekend.
Maldon District Council has made the decision to postpone the upcoming UFEST set to take place on Friday at Promenade Park.
A new date is yet to be announced.
A spokesman for Maldon District Council said: "Unfortunately, the decision has been taken to postpone UFEST on Friday 4 August due to the forecasted rain and thunderstorms.
"We are looking to reschedule the event and we will announce the new date as soon as possible."
