FOUR people were taken to hospital after six vehicles were involved in a road traffic collision where a bus collided with a building.
The Essex Police Roads Policing team said six vehicles were involved in a collision in White Elm Road in Bicknacre yesterday.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Traffic was diverted along Peartree Lane whilst services were at the scene.
No serious injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.
The bus, owned by Braintree-based coach hire company, Flagfinders, had collided with a building just before the roundabout at the junction with Bicknacre Road and the B1418 Main Road.

“We thank the emergency services for their rapid response. As a company, we are also treating this situation very seriously by carrying out our own investigation, as well as supporting the police with theirs.”
