A HISTORIC town centre pub is officially open with a new look and a new name.
The former Sunny Sailor pub in 1 Fullbridge, Maldon, has reopened as the Muddy Duck.
The pub was up for auction with Dedman Gray and sold prior to the auction last month for £400,000.
The owners said they have big plans for the pub and will be converting the upper floors into short term holiday lets/ bed and breakfast rooms.
The detached Grade II listed property has had new signs installed representing the new name.
