A REVAMPED pub with new floors and a patio has been officially reopened.

MP Priti Patel visited the Green Man pub in Green Man Lane, Little Braxted, to meet the owners and officially declare it open.

Pub owners, brothers Ylli and Abi Vata, invited Ms Patel to cut the ribbon at the venue.

They showed Ms Patel the extensive refurbishment work, which included renovations throughout the entire pub.

New flooring has been installed, along with new equipment in the restaurant.

The kitchen has also had an update and a patio has been installed in the garden area.

The owners said: “We are very grateful to Priti for taking the time to come here today and give the new Green Man a good send-off.

“We enjoyed meeting her and having the chance to discuss our plans for the future with her.”

Ms Priti said: “It was an honour to meet Ylli and Abi and see the extent of the investment they have made in their business, the Green Man.

“The refurbishment is impressive and has made a real difference in providing a relaxed and comfortable new venue in which people can spend their leisure time.
