A GUIDE to support residents with their health and finances this winter has been produced.

One Maldon District, a partnership between statutory, voluntary and private sector organisations, has created a winter services community guide.

The guide provides key information and support on health and well-being, energy-saving tips, financial support and community groups that can help residents in the Maldon District.

A district-wide map is now live on the Maldon District Council website which shows the location of different resources, groups and organisations.

This will help residents find their closest services to get support.

Jane Gardner, chair of One Maldon District and Essex deputy police, fire and crime commissioner, said: “We are living in difficult times, where the price of energy, food and bills are rising rapidly.

“We, as One Maldon District, have worked with a host of local community organisations to produce the Winter Services Community Guide which provides lots of advice and guidance on support that is available in the Maldon district, we hope you find this useful.”

Maldon District Council leader Penny Channer said: “I am delighted that the council has been able to support the One Maldon District partnership with the production on this Winter Services Community guide which I hope will help our residents at this difficult time.”
