A HISTORIC High Street café has expanded to offer double its original capacity.

The expansion is now open with a bright, naturally lit skylight room and a feature fireplace with space for 40 more people all on one floor.

The café is a part of Maldon's History, with Edward Bright, the fat man of Maldon being seen eating in the spot where the café stands.
