There were fourteen pairs to play bridge on Wednesday night.
The winners were John Hill and Masie Butcher with 60.76%. They were closely followed by Barrie Stead and Peter Hunter with 60.07%. Third were Tricia and George Miller with 59.03%.
BEACON WINE CIRCLE
On Thursday evening the Beacon Wine Circle held its annual Cheese and Pate evening. About sixty of the members gathered in the Wickham Bishops hall for the evening.
They managed to consume the large variety of cheeses and pates provided, together with the lovely fresh brown bread and french sticks. This was all washed down with plenty of wine.
BINGO IN THE HALL
An evening of Bingo has been organised in the Wickham Bishops village hall on Friday 4 April.
Come along at 7pm for the prompt start at 7.30pm and enjoy yourselves.
