On February 4 members enjoyed Robert Goodwin's illustrated presentation on Willows. Robert described his diversification from conventional crops and informed members of the many varied used of willow, ranging from fencing, sea defences, fuel, living structures and cricket bats. He also described the way the crop could contribute to a reduction in sulphur nitrogen emissions.
