“Hate related” graffiti was scrawled across a brick wall along a busy road in Wickford.
Essex Police have reported officers were called to the “hate related graffiti” along Mersea Crescent and Salcott Crescent – with further graffiti in nearby Spellbrook Close.
Officers believe the graffiti was written between 7pm and 9pm on Saturday, May 21.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “We have been made aware of hate related graffiti in the area of Mersea Crescent, Spellbrook Close and Salcott Crescent, Wickford. This occurred between 7pm and 9pm yesterday, May 21.
“If you have any information or CCTV footage please call 101 or report online quoting incident 1276 21/05/2022.”v
