A MAN had to be cut free from a vehicle by firefighters after a crash left him trapped.

Emergency services were called to Holloway Road, in Heybridge, shortly before 3.40pm on Wednesday.

Upon arrival paramedics and fire crews established a man needed to be released from a vehicle following an accident.

After being freed from a vehicle, the casualty was taken to Broomfield Hospital for further treatment.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “Three ambulances were sent to the scene.

“We were assisted by colleagues from the fire service who helped extricate an adult man from the vehicle.”
